Mucoceles are benign lesions related to the minor salivary glands and their respective ducts. Clinically, mucoceles are generally asymptomatic and characterized by swollen nodules. They predominantly located on the lower lip. There are two types of mucoceles. The first type, the mucous extravasation cyst and the second type, the mucous retention cyst. Treatments of mucoceles include surgical excision, cryosurgery, electrocautery and carbon dioxide (CO©ü) laser. Recurrences are frequent. The purpose of this study is to report the treatment of mucoceles on the lower lip using surgical excision. In first case, there was no recurrence after 26 months. In second and third case, no recurrences were noted 18 months and 30 months after surgical excision, respectively.
